Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kakarot Chewbacca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Barrol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barrol is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Christ Conscious . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kakarot Chewbacca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tyler Barrol!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrol circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chewbacca fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Barrol cracks Chewbacca with an open hand slap.
Chewbacca with a poor takedown
and Barrol counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Chewbacca throws a sloppy head kick
and Barrol counters with a straight right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab from Chewbacca finds it's way through Barrol's defenses.
Chewbacca throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chewbacca tries to clinch but Barrol moves out of range.
Barrol throws out a counter right but Chewbacca avoids it with no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chewbacca gets tackled into the cage by Barrol. Barrol maintains the clinch.
Barrol scores with a hook to the body.
Barrol prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kakarot Chewbacca. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chewbacca wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Barrol has him pressed against the cage.

A hook to the body from Barrol.
Chewbacca definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Barrol lands with a right to the head.
Barrol lands with a short shot to the head.
Barrol lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Chewbacca backwards.
Chewbacca being controlled against the cage.
Barrol has Chewbacca pressed against the cage, preventing Chewbacca from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Barrol lands a body punch.
Chewbacca is breathing heavily.
Barrol manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chewbacca has a takedown stuffed.
Barrol unleashes a big counter combination but Chewbacca bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Chewbacca moves to clinch but Barrol breaks away
and Barrol cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chewbacca falls off balance throwing a combination
and Barrol scores with a counter punch that sends Chewbacca to the canvas! Barrol smells blood - he's punishing Chewbacca with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Chewbacca has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tyler Barrol!
Tyler Barrol looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'These lightweights don't understand, until they get hit by me, it's a whole other ballgame when they get hit by me.'.
