The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rewell fails with the takedown.
Fransson shoots in but Rewell avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rewell throws a fast counter high kick but Fransson manages to duck under it in time.
Fransson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've been hearing reports that Fransson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Fransson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fransson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rewell pinned against the cage. Rewell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A bit of a lull in the action here.
Fransson just content to control the position.
Fransson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rewell keeps working.
Fransson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Rewell looks calm but he's in trouble here. Fransson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Rewell is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Fransson lets go of the hold and Rewell can pop his arm back in it's socket.
