Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hone Huia!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huia goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hate rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Huia counters with a one-two to the body.
Hate has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Huia swinging wildly here.
Huia lands a jab to the nose.
No luck for Huia with that takedown attempt.
Huia lands with a nice combination. Hate backs away looking to recover.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Huia will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

As Hate backs off Huia throws a huge counter combo but Hate manages to avoid it all.

Huia closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hate to the mat! Hate manages to get full guard.
Hate wants to stand but Huia is controlling the position.

Hate keeping moving, preventing Huia from controlling successfully.

Huia stands and throws Hate's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Huia wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hate keeps working.
Hate is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Hate is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Huia has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Huia is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hate's shoulder. That is not cool.
Huia wants to control but Hate is keeping him busy.

Huia is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hate looks calm but he's in trouble here. Huia gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hate is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Huia lets go of the hold and Hate can pop his arm back in it's socket.
