Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sherman Haney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Shane Peters!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Haney gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Haney apologises and we restart here on the feet.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Haney holds on and takes a little breather.
Haney's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
