Johnson is trying to pull guard but Scofield has him pressed against the cage.
Scofield pulls guard successfully.
Johnson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Scofield to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Johnson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Scofield pulls down on the head and he's put Johnson to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ebswet Scofield!
Ebswet Scofield decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
