The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Steve Montenegro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paige throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Saaim sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Paige scores with a decent looking hook.
A telegraphed right hand from Paige misses the target.
Paige throws a looping overhand right but Saaim ducks down to avoid it.
Saaim takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Mike Paige seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paige looks to land a right hand but Saaim moved out of range.
Paige throws a hook but Saaim blocks it.
Paige throws a shot from downtown. Saaim moves away and avoids it.
Saaim gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Saaim is trying to drag Paige to the mat but Paige just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Paige is trying to break the clinch but Saaim is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saaim just leaning against Paige, taking a breather.

Saaim has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Paige is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Saaim is breathing heavily.
Saaim is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Paige gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for CJ Saaim. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Paige wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Saaim has him pressed against the cage.
Saaim avoiding damage.
Paige tries to break the clinch but Saaim is controlling the position.
Saaim displaying some good clinch control by pressing Paige up against the cage.
Paige wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Saaim tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Paige smiles and moves away.
Saaim misses with a jab to the body
and Paige counters with a crisp right hand that drops Saaim! Paige lets Saaim back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like CJ Saaim has been cut.
Paige fakes the body blow, causing Saaim to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Saaim goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
