Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ned Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guido Clay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Ned Hunter has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ned Hunter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Guido Clay! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Clay paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hunter wants to clinch but Clay slips to the side and Clay counters with a single leg into guard. Hunter didn't expect that. Clay not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Clay trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clay slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Clay looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hunter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clay cracks Hunter with a big elbow. The referee asks Clay politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Clay prefers to stall for the moment though. Hunter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Sloppy strikes there by Clay.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Clay advances nicely into full mount. Clay takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Clay is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hunter can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Clay controlling the position easily from mount. Clay is in the full mount, landing strikes. Clay raining down hammerfists from mount. Hunter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clay on the ground. Clay looking to finish Hunter with some ground and pound. This is bad for Hunter!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clay punishing his opponent with strikes. Clay looking to control and managing it successfully. Clay looking to isolate an arm here. Hunter doesn't see it coming and as Clay extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Clay!
