Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leonid Panteleev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Helio Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panteleev uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gracie.
We've been told by Panteleev's head coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Gracie looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Panteleev!
Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Panteleev is defending well.
Panteleev tries to buck Gracie off but Gracie is having none of it.
Panteleev is working hard here to advance position.
Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Panteleev, who protects the arm well.

Gracie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Panteleev has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gracie but great work by Panteleev.

Gracie on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

and Panteleev counters with a nice body shot.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Panteleev.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
Gracie takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Gracie closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Panteleev's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Panteleev is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Panteleev blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Panteleev prevents a takedown attempt there.
Leonid Panteleev has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helio Gracie.

Panteleev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Panteleev counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Gracie takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Panteleev lands with a straight right. Gracie didn't see that one coming.
Gracie misses with a hook to the body
and Panteleev counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gracie thinking.
Panteleev swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gracie.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Panteleev as he avoids it easily.
Panteleev is looking to counter punch.
Panteleev scores with a hook to the body. Gracie takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Panteleev throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Panteleev lands a nice looking body shot.
Panteleev throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Oooooh!!! Panteleev has knocked Gracie down with a huge combo! Panteleev steps away and waves a wobbly Gracie back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Gracie is rocked!
It looks like Helio Gracie has been cut.
Panteleev fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Panteleev finish him?
Panteleev stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Panteleev thumps Gracie with a low kick.
Gracie seems to have recovered his senses.
Panteleev scores with the left hand. Gracie knows he should have avoided that one.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Panteleev circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Gracie to the canvas! Gracie doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Panteleev keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leonid Panteleev!

Helio Gracie was interviewed post fight and said 'I'd like to thank my opponent for giving me a chance making him better just by entering ring.'.
