The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazewsk gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Boyle is looking to break free of the clinch but Lazewsk has double underhooks.
Lazewsk ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lazewsk no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Boyle throwing strikes but missing.
Lazewsk is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Boyle trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Lazewsk manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Lazewsk breaks the clinch.
Boyle misses with an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boyle looks to land a right hand but Lazewsk moved out of range.
Lazewsk lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Boyle backs up against the cage.
Lazewsk moves out of range as Boyle strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Boyle moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Lazewsk! Boyle continues to tee off on Lazewsk, landing with a left and a right! Boyle connects with a right hand that leaves Lazewsk sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Boyle!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Liam Boyle!
A very excited looking Liam Boyle rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
