The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jensen connects with a looping right hand.

Velasquez moves into the clinch.
Jensen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Jensen has had enough of the clinch but Velasquez keeps him there for the moment.

Velasquez tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Velasquez throws a right hand that Jensen ducks under and follows up with a left that Jensen also avoids with ease.
Velasquez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jensen on the side of the head.
Velasquez fails to land with a series of punches.
Jensen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Velasquez at a distance.

Velasquez scores with a jab. Jensen acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Jensen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jensen is trying to pull guard but Velasquez has him pressed against the cage.
Jensen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Velasquez just stands there and leans against the cage.
Jensen is trying to force a seperation but Velasquez has the dominant position.
Jensen jumps guard but Velasquez stands there with Jensen around his waist. Jensen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leopoldo Jensen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A frustrated look appears on Jensen's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Velasquez throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

It looks like Leopoldo Jensen has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Velasquez just content to control the position.
Oh Jensen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Velasquez scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Jensen is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Velasquez can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
