The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuha feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kassabs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Walood Kassab has been cut.
We've been informed that Yuha has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Kassab shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yuha but Yuha pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kassab drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kassab connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Yuha some visible discomfort.
Yuha is looking for a sweep.
Kassab lands a decent elbow from side control.
Yuha is trying to get back to his feet.
Yuha is looking to regain half guard here but Kassab keeps moving and retains side control.
Kassab scores with a couple of short elbows.
Yuha is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kassab is controlling him well.
We've been hearing that Kassab has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Walood Kassab tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
