Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Maxim Bok and Busta Black. Chooooooooon! I think Bok might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Give It Revolution. The crowd seem to be enjoying Black's choice of entrance music: Ready or Not. Busta Black is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 2 losses; Maxim Bok! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Busta Black!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Black scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Bok (0) vs (4) Black
Bok can't do much from the bottom here.
Bok sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Bok wants to improve his position but Black is controlling well.
Black performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bok is not content to let Black control the position.
Bok moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bok is looking to sweep but instead, Black has passed into half guard.
Bok tries to get to full guard but Black has control of the leg.
Black looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Bok looking for submissions off his back.
Bok wants to improve his position but Black is controlling well.
Bok is pressing down on Black's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Bok looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bok is adopting a defensive guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Black trying to control the position from guard on top but Bok is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bok is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bok wants to improve his position but instead Black has moved into half guard.
Black is pressing down on Bok's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bok is holding on for now.
Bok manages to get to full guard.

Bok is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Black trying to control but Bok is working from the bottom.
Black slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Black tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Black is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bok knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bok regains half guard.
Bok is looking for a sweep. Black is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bok makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bok.

Black slips nicely into half guard.
Black looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Bok regains full guard. Nicely done.
Bok looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bok is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bok is working for a kimura but Black is defending it quite comfortably.
Bok wants to lay and pray for a moment but Black keeps working.
Bok prevents Black from improving his position.

Bok is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Black sees it coming and defends easily.
Black trying to control but Bok postures up.
Black felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bok stalling.
Black is in trouble now - Bok has advanced to mount!

Bok wants to control the pace but Black is squirming around nicely.
Black keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bok moves to take his opponent's back.

Black breaks Bok's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bok is on top in guard.

Black is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bok rolls with it to try and escape but Black cranks on the arm and Bok is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 6:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Busta Black!
