Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thurman Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mamed Sarkerow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Thurman Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mamed Sarkerow! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sarkerow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wallace looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Wallace explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Sarkerow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wallace will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Sarkerow feints the counter takedown. Wallace shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sarkerow misses with a leg kick and Wallace counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sarkerow's knee momentarily. Sarkerow drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wallace throws Sarkerow to one side and escapes! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sarkerow tries to clinch but Wallace is having none of it. Wallace looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Sarkerow blocks a leg kick. Sarkerow changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Sarkerow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wallace looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Wallace throws Sarkerow to one side and escapes! Sarkerow should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sarkerow shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wallace pushes Sarkerow off and gets back to his feet.
Sarkerow misses with a wild combination.
Sarkerow looks winded! Sarkerow misses with a two punch combination.
Wallace misses with an attempted mid kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sarkerow throws a head kick that misses. Wallace scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Wallace works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Wallace stands up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wallace shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wallace was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Wallace just content to control the position. Sarkerow on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Wallace decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sarkerow to his feet. Wallace scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wallace is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Sarkerow is trying to control but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace winds up and cracks Sarkerow with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Wallace perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Wallace scoring with strikes to the body and head. Wallace in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Sarkerow tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Wallace!
