Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Mishkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Boris Mishkin!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mishkin stuffs the takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mishkin tries to clinch there but Gracie circles away.
Mishkin doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.

Mishkin clinches up against the cage.
Mishkin lands a nice elbow.
Gracie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mishkin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Mishkin manages to break the clinch.
Boris Mishkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie looks to clinch
and Mishkin counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Mishkin forces Gracie back against the cage and clinches.
Gracie is looking to break free of the clinch but Mishkin has double underhooks.
Gracie taking a breather.
Gracie blocks an elbow strike from Mishkin.
Mishkin gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Mishkin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mishkin gets a clinch.
Gracie tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mishkin smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mateus Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A big head kick from Mishkin and Gracie is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Mateus Gracie has been cut.

Mishkin postures up.
Mishkin scoring with some ground and pound.
Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Mishkin is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Gracie unloads with some shots from mount but Mishkin bucks and avoids them well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gracie trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Mishkin is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gracie misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mishkin tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mishkin is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gracie thowing shots but they're missing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boris Mishkin dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mateus Gracie's cut.
That's time! Gracie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Gracie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mishkin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gracie tries to clinch up
and Mishkin counters with a flying knee that drops Gracie! Mishkin dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
