Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ed Reed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lamar Washington!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington looks to land a left hand but Reed moved out of range nicely.
Reed moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Ed Reed has been cut.
Washington tries a low kick but Reed avoids it.
Washington feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Reed sprawling to the canvas! Reed rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Washington finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reed takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Reed is breathing heavily.
Washington lands a nice leg kick that just misses Reed's sensitive parts.
Washington cracks the inside of Reed's front leg.
Washington pushes Reed away with a front kick.
Washington bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Washington.

Washington lands a high kick to the side of Reed's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Washington dives into guard, looking to finish.

Reed is rocked!

Washington gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Oh Reed is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Washington tries a head kick but it misses.
Reed seems to have got his legs back now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Washington grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Reed takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Washington cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
