The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bayless works over Davis's head and body with a nice combination.
Bayless keeps the fight on the outside.
Despite the aggression on Bayless's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Nice sprawl there from Bayless as Davis shoots in.
Davis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bayless defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Davis.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roderick Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Davis gets a double leg takedown into Bayless's guard.
Bayless looking for a sweep. Not yet Bayless, not yet.
Davis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bayless avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Bayless looking to hit a scissor sweep but Davis is one step ahead there.
Bayless has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Davis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bayless has his hands on Davis's head, controlling the position.

Bayless has an active guard here but Davis has managed to pass into half guard.
Davis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bayless is doing well to control the position and prevent Davis from advancing to side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bayless is looking to improve his position.
Davis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bayless does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bayless is positioning himself well to prevent Davis advancing to mount.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bayless scores with a nice right hand.
Davis wants to clinch up but Bayless keeps it at a distance.
Bayless with a hook.
Davis is rocked!
Bayless lands a big right hand that sends Davis crashing to the mat! Bayless stays standing though and waves Davis back to his feet!
Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Davis dodges the punch combination from Bayless.
Bayless throws an uppercut from hell that sends Davis clean off his feet! He's out cold! Bayless stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
