Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aaron Booth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Gray! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Booth throws a combination. Gray tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Booth lands a head kick!
Gray changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Booth looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Booth is trying to get back to his feet. Gray landing a few strikes. Booth takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Booth is rocked! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gray scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Booth is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Gray can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Gray!
