The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oswald tries to clinch up but rightthere circles away and keeps his distance.

Danny Oswald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

rightthere working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Oswald doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oswald manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Oswald has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Oswald bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

rightthere is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Let's hope that rightthere has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

rightthere had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Oswald is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. rightthere Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Oswald's back instead.
Oswald tries to escape but rightthere has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
rightthere is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Oswald has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but rightthere has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Oswald taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. rightthere doesn't care though - he's delighted!
