Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kizeal Ingram! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Justin Cider ! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ingram throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cider tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ingram is in Cider 's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cider holds on and takes a little breather. Ingram postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ingram tries to free his leg and advance position but Cider is retaining full guard. Ingram looking to sit in guard and control but Cider gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Cider controlling from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ingram tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ingram working a defensive guard here.
Ingram is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cider postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ingram is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Ingram looking for a guillotine here but Cider defends easily.
Cider must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cider preventing the sweep. Ingram looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cider has picked Ingram up and slammed him! Ingram can't keep hold of the triangle and Cider manages to pass to side control! Ingram is looking to regain half guard here but Cider keeps moving and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ingram being controlled for a moment. Ingram is trying to get back to half guard. Ingram wants to control but Cider postures up. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Cider wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ingram keeps working. Ingram is trying to escape the position but Cider is controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheers as Ingram lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cider doesn't seem phased though. Ingram shoots in for a double leg but Cider sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ingram misses with a body kick. Ingram uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cider . Cider showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ingram.
A lazy body kick from Ingram and Cider counters with a series of strikes. Ingram will be more careful next time no doubt. Cider throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Cider jabbing away but nothing is landing. Nice shot lands for Ingram. Good shot there by Cider . This has been an exciting period of action! Ingram on the wrong end of a nice hook. Ingram bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cider 's head. Cider connects with a crisp jab. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Cider scores with a nice body kick.

Cider fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ingram manages to avoid it. Cider takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
It seemed like Cider was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Ingram lands a nice shot to the body.

Ingram blocks a low kick nicely. It looked like Ingram was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Cider . Nice shot by Cider . Cider explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Cider misses the shot to the body. Ingram throws a sloppy head kick and Cider moves out of range easily. Ingram scores with a takedown into Cider 's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cider keeping full guard, as Ingram tries to pass. Ingram with a flurry of punches that miss.

Kizeal Ingram overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ingram throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Ingram shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cider as he avoids it easily. Ingram displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cider throws out the jab. Cider throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Cider lands a leg kick that knocks Ingram off balance momentarily. Ingram fails with the takedown and Cider counters with a stiff right hand. Cider stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kizeal Ingram. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cider lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ingram's sensitive parts. Ingram throws a hook but Cider blocks it. Ingram uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cider has time to react. Cider scores with a nice body kick.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A solid leg kick lands there for Cider .
Cider works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Cider connects with a looping right hand.
Cider lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Ingram will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ingram drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Ingram has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cider finds it's way round the side to connect with Ingram's head. Ingram tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cider sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ingram somewhat. Cider misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ingram throws a wild body kick that Cider sees coming a mile off. Cider slips a jab from Ingram. Ingram misses with a hook. Justin Cider is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ingram fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ingram takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Cider has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ingram on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Justin Cider seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ingram takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice inside leg kick there by Cider . That's going to slow Ingram down. Cider throws a body kick that misses. Cider connects with a combination that backs up Ingram into the cage. Cider lands a flurry of punches that gets past Ingram's guard. Ingram is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Cider bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
