Day comes to the cage accompanied by Last minute - Great day to choke you out. Gary Day could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jay Smith's chin.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day takes one to the side of the head.
Smith swings for the body but Day moves out of range.
Day tries to sprawl but Smith drives through with a takedown into half guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Day is on top in guard.

A relieved looking Gary Day thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
