Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Helder Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicolas Barcos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicolas Barcos is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helder Dias! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nicolas Barcos! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Joseph Jones and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dias misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Barcos.
Barcos is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Barcos shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Barcos showed some decent athleticism there. Barcos is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Dias is looking to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dias won't allow Barcos to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barcos wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Barcos is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Dias tries to roll over but Barcos keeps him under control. Dias tries to reverse the position but Barcos maintains control. Barcos looking to control but Dias is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Barcos lands a heavy elbow.

It looks like Helder Dias has been cut. Barcos unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Dias wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Barcos celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
