Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phil Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rab Rehab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rehab is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by saturday nights alright for fighting. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Phil Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
38 - 34 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rab Rehab! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rehab throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Harris misses with a head kick.
A cross from Harris lands. Harris tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rehab defends well and Harris ends up having to push Rehab into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Rehab lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rehab. Harris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rehab sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harris somewhat. Rehab let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Rehab getting the better of the striking in that exchange. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rehab swats away the attempt to clinch by Harris. Harris moves into the clinch successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rehab looking for a takedown. Rehab's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Harris softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Rehab softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Harris tries to land a knee to the head but Rehab blocks with his arms.
Harris using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rehab has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rehab lands on the inside with an uppercut. Harris lands a knee to the body.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Harris. Rehab has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Harris uses from the top position. Rehab throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Harris got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rehab has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Harris has managed to get both his arms back between Rehab's legs - danger averted. Harris wants to control from the top but Rehab keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Harris accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Harris connects with a couple of short punches. Rehab wants to sweep here but Harris controlling him for the moment. Harris stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Rehab has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Harris manages to get his head free but now Rehab has transitioned to an armbar! Harris grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Rehab! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rab Rehab! Rab Rehab seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
