The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bruny is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Blackstone's half guard.

Bruny is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Bruny thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Blackstone's head.

Bruny is working for a submission of some sort.

Bruny is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Blackstone sees it coming and defends easily.
Blackstone looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bruny is pressing down on Blackstone's thigh, looking to free his foot. Blackstone is holding on for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blackstone wants to control but Bruny is keeping busy and won't allow it.
