0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Amare Sow! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sow throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Morales tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sow is in Morales's guard. Sow wants to pass the guard but Morales is keeping the position. Sow working some strikes from top position. Morales keeping full guard, as Sow tries to pass. Sow working some strikes from top position. Sow wants to control from the top but Morales keeps moving. Sow decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Morales, up you get! Sow shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Morales napping and manages to drive through into side control! Morales is letting Sow control him for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sow tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sow has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Morales is looking for a sweep. Sow is looking to take a break and control but Morales is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sow tries to move to mount but Morales blocks the move with his legs.

This could be trouble! No, Morales has managed to free his arm - good work. Morales is refusing to be controlled, as Sow sits in half guard. Morales is looking to control Sow's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Morales avoid being mounted? Sow stands up and beckons Morales to join him on the feet. Sow shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Morales but Morales pushes him off and we're back to square one. Morales displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sow. Sow looks winded!

Sow dives in for a single leg takedown but Morales sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Reyes Morales has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amare Sow. Morales moves into the clinch. Sow is fighting off a takedown attempt but Morales is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sow to the mat. Sow regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Morales postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Morales chips away with some ground and pound. Morales trying to control the position from guard on top but Sow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Morales decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Morales is pressed up against the cage. Sow has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Morales down to the mat. Morales avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Morales stuffs the takedown. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Morales scores with a jab to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Morales tries to clinch up but Sow circles away and keeps his distance. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sow is defended easily by Morales. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Reyes Morales will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Morales's corner calls for a 1-2. Morales obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Sow shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Morales manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Morales utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sow is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Morales is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Morales has escaped and now he's on top!

Morales manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morales stops Sow from standing up. Sow is trying to control the position but Morales postures up. Morales connects with a couple of short punches. Morales stands up over Sow, holding his feet. Morales is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Morales gets to his feet - Sow follows without any prompting. Morales defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sow. Morales will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sow looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Sow thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Sow is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Reyes Morales dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Sow escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Morales gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Morales is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Sow has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Morales is looking to defend but Sow has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Morales! Sow pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Morales taps out and this one is all over!
