Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duane Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kabal Labak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Duane Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kabal Labak! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Labak's head. Labak ducks under a wild hook from Perry. Labak manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Perry on his heels. He'll look to pass Perry's guard now, I'm sure. Perry is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Labak misses with a punch on the inside.
Perry works on Labak's body with a couple of short punches. Labak just leaning against Perry, taking a breather. Labak tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Labak has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. A short right hand to the side of the head by Perry. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Labak tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Perry's elbow. Perry escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A slapping body kick lands there for Labak. Perry instigates a clinch. A shot in the inside from Perry. Perry working some nice short punches in the clinch. Labak lands a hook to the side of the head. Labak blocks a punch to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round. Perry lands with a short head shot on the inside. Labak lands with a right to the head. Perry misses with a short punch on the inside. Labak tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Perry avoids it. Perry lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Perry blocks a punch to the side of the head.

A short uppercut from Perry. Perry gets through Labak's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Perry is stalling here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Labak has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Perry is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Labak blocks a body shot from Perry. Labak has hold of one of Perry's legs. Perry is fighting the takedown attempt but Labak gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Labak throws a big elbow that misses. Perry avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Labak loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Labak lands a couple of decent looking shots. Labak passes easily into side control. Nice work. Labak is trying to get an arm triangle but Perry is defending well. Labak is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Perry knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry manages to get back to half guard. Labak wants to pass the guard but Perry is defending well. Labak not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Labak is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Perry has managed to free his arm - good work. Labak missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Labak missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Labak working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Perry's thigh. Perry counters though and makes it back to full guard. Labak trying to control but Perry is working from the bottom. Labak pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Perry is keeping the position for now. Labak drops back, looking for a kneebar! Perry looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Perry looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Perry! You can see the frustration on Labak's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Perry trying to control the position but Labak is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Duane Perry dominated that round. That's time! Perry's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

It looks like Kabal Labak has been cut. Perry looks to land a left hand but Labak moved out of range nicely. We've been told by Perry's head coaches at The Butcher's Block that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Duane Perry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Labak takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Perry moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Perry throws a leg kick but Labak moved away. Perry tests Labak's chin there with a solid looking shot. Perry is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Labak can do to turn this around? Perry misses with a shot to the body and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. A jab lands there for Labak. Labak clinches up with Perry and pushes him back against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Perry. Perry has a couple of punches blocked by Labak.
Labak is looking to take this one to the mat. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Labak prevents a body shot from Perry. A short right hand to the side of the head by Perry. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Labak effectively controlling the action here. Perry misses with a short punch on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perry can't find room to land a body shot as Labak controls the action.
Labak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Perry takes the fight into the clinch. Perry softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Perry misses with a hook from the clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Perry has a couple of punches blocked by Labak.
Perry is defending well against a takedown attempt. Perry lands a left hand.
Perry scores with a shot to the side of Labak's head. Perry lands a right hand. Perry can't find room to land a body shot as Labak controls the action.
Perry tries to throw a body punch but Labak avoids it by throwing Perry back against the cage. Perry throws a punch but it's blocked by Labak. Labak has a couple of punches blocked by Perry.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Labak. Labak is working for takedown but Perry is calmly controlling the position for now. Duane Perry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kabal Labak. Perry has a couple of punches blocked by Labak.
Labak tries to break free but Perry pushes him back against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Perry fails to land. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Perry scores with a shoulder strike. Labak successfully pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Labak looking to hit a scissor sweep but Perry is one step ahead there. Perry controlling from the top position. Labak pulls Perry in to control the position. Labak working for a triangle but Perry defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Labak is looking for a triangle here but Perry uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Perry is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Labak will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Perry wants to lay and pray for a moment but Labak keeps working. Labak is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Labak manages to get back to half guard. Labak is trying to control but Perry passes into side control!
Labak struggling a bit here. Labak is looking for a sweep. Perry stands up. Labak throws the kick towards the body but Perry avoids it. Perry swings and misses with a shot to the body and Labak counters with a nice leg kick. Labak misses with a right hand and Perry counters with a stiff right hand. Perry is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Labak misses with an uppercut
and Perry counters with a one-two to the body. Perry misses with a shot to the body and Labak counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Duane Perry dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Kabal Labak's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Labak ducks down and throws a hook to the body. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Perry checks a leg kick. Perry getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Perry looks to throw the jab but Labak is out of range. Labak tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Perry swivels and escapes. Perry sizes up Labak with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Perry with a hook. Perry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Labak manages to avoid it. Labak looks like he wants to counter punch here. Perry fails in his attempt to clinch. Labak is trying to counter with his kicks. Perry throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Labak doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Labak. Perry lands with a nice body kick. Perry misses with a looping left. Perry connects with a good right hand that stumbles Labak. Labak circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Labak misses the jab. Perry went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
That's one minute gone in the round. Labak misses with a straight right. A big right from Perry misses. Labak gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Perry. Perry with a body punch. A glancing blow. Perry moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Perry lands a jab to Labak's midsection. Perry misses with a wild body shot. Perry checks a leg kick nicely. Perry cracks Labak with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Perry throws a hook to the side of Labak's head but Labak sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Perry scores with a jab to the jaw. Perry stalks Labak and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Labak's face. Labak staggers backwards, shaken. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Perry takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Perry swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Labak checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Perry drives through and clinches with Labak against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perry misses with the head strike.
Perry lands a right hand that snaps the head of Labak backwards. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Perry. Labak has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Perry after a bit of a struggle. Labak jumps guard but Perry turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Duane Perry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kabal Labak. Perry's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A swing and a miss from Labak. Labak scores with a shot to the body.
Labak shoots in for a takedown but Perry shows good takedown defense. Labak ducks under a wild hook from Perry. Labak misses with a low kick. Labak has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Labak there as he acknowledges the shot. Perry stalks Labak and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Labak's face. Labak staggers backwards, shaken. Perry fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Labak takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A nice leg kick lands there from Perry. Perry works over Labak's head and body with a nice combination. Kabal Labak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry connects with an inside leg kick. Labak shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Perry kicks Labak off and gets back to his feet. Perry fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Perry misses with a combination
and Labak connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Perry keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Labak. Perry connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters circling - Perry throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Perry tries to clinch there but Labak circles away.
Labak now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Perry bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Labak's head backwards. Perry lunges at Labak with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Labak's hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Labak takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Labak misses the shot to the body. Labak uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Perry. Perry is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Perry ducks under a wild hook from Labak. Perry stuns Labak with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Perry thuds a left hand into Labak's body. Labak connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Labak throws the left hand but Perry avoids the punch easily. Perry swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Labak. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Perry scores with a nice head shot. A slapping leg kick lands for Perry.

and Labak counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Duane Perry is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Perry rushes Labak and presses him up against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Duane Perry showed his dominance in that final round. Well Perry has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
