Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vashon Daleske (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alvin Loredo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vashon Daleske! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Alvin Loredo! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loredo scores with a decent looking hook. A looping hook to the body misses from Loredo. Daleske does a little dance to reset his feet. Daleske drives through and clinches with Loredo against the cage.

Loredo gets through Daleske's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Daleske breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Daleske throws a leg kick that misses. Loredo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Daleske was well out of range. Poor timing from Loredo. Good shot there by Loredo. A nice inside leg kick there by Loredo. That's going to slow Daleske down. The fight stays on the outside here - Daleske looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Loredo unleashes a big counter combination but Daleske bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Loredo misses with a right hand and Daleske moves into the clinch. Daleske blocking some punches.

This has been an exciting period of action! Loredo cracks Daleske with a nice body shot. Loredo pushes Daleske back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Loredo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loredo throws a head punch that misses. Daleske's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Alvin Loredo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fight stays on the outside here - Daleske looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Loredo throws a quick inside leg kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Daleske is defended easily by Loredo. A big right from Loredo misses. Loredo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Daleske stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Daleske misses with a takedown attempt - Loredo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A nice inside leg kick there by Loredo. That's going to slow Daleske down. Daleske takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Loredo connects with a body shot that sends Daleske's belly button to the back. Loredo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daleske shoots in but Loredo avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vashon Daleske. That's going to take a lot out of him. Loredo throws a shot to the body.
Daleske takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Daleske throws a hook but Loredo avoids it easily. Loredo digs a good body shot into Daleske's ribs. Loredo throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Loredo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Daleske circles away quickly and effectively. Loredo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Daleske. Daleske has taken the fight to the clinch.
Loredo lands a hook that snaps the head of Daleske backwards. Daleske works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Daleske seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Loredo pushes Daleske off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daleske closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Loredo's guard. Daleske scoring with punches to the head and body. Daleske trying to control but Loredo is working from the bottom. Loredo managing to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Loredo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Daleske manages to get himself to full guard.
Loredo wants to control from the top but Daleske keeps moving. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Daleske looking to hit a scissor sweep but Loredo is one step ahead there. Daleske is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Loredo defends well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alvin Loredo dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Loredo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Daleske moves forwards but Loredo connects with a nice, crisp jab. Loredo connects with a nice looking jab.
Daleske has a takedown stuffed. Loredo scores with a nice right hand.
Daleske defending well as Loredo loads up on a big left hand. Daleske doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Daleske shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Loredo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Daleske takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Loredo lands with a straight right. Daleske didn't see that one coming. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! No luck for Daleske with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vashon Daleske. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Loredo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Daleske moves out of range of the strikes. Daleske uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Loredo. Daleske avoids the body shot from Loredo.
Daleske blocks a jab. Loredo lands the left hand. Daleske slips a straight right by Loredo. Loredo jabs at Daleske's body. Loredo dips to his left and cracks Daleske with an uppercut! Loredo misses with a body shot.
Loredo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Daleske is rocked! Loredo lunges at Daleske with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Daleske's hand. Oh Daleske is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! Daleske is looking to clinch but Loredo is avoiding it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loredo closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Daleske out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
