Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michinori Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Ames (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Michinori Aoki has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michinori Aoki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ed Ames! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ames fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Aoki avoids it really well and circles away. As Ames backs away, Aoki returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Ames fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Ames has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Aoki. A low kick from Ames misses and Aoki counters with a good low kick that Ames was not able to check. Aoki scoring well with a low kick there.
Aoki tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aoki avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Nice body kick from Ames. A slow jab from Ames misses its intended target. Aoki stuffs the takedown. Aoki appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Aoki throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ames changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aoki tries to avoid it but Ames manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aoki to the ground. Aoki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Michinori Aoki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ed Ames. Sloppy strikes from Ames. Those never looked like landing. Aoki blocks a jab. Aoki lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Aoki connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Aoki connects with a leg kick. Ames looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Aoki slips a jab and a cross from Ames.
Aoki throws a wild body kick that Ames sees coming a mile off. We've been told by Aoki's head coaches at Hellfire Antechamber that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Michinori Aoki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ames.
Aoki is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ames. Ames throws a poor cross that misses
and Aoki counters with a slapping leg kick. You can see that Ames has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks Ames looks winded! Aoki throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Ames colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Aoki as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Ames is left battered and dazed whilst Aoki and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michinori Aoki!
