Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Gold! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Azadshatru Singh! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Singh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gold is looking to counter punch. Azadshatru Singh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gold looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Nice straight punches there by Gold. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gold. Singh gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Gold counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Singh thinking. Gold decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gold wants to pass the guard but Singh is defending well. Singh wants to get back to his feet.
Gold working over Singh with some ground and pound. Singh looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Gold slips a nice elbow through Singh's hands, connecting with Singh's forehead. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Singh pushes Gold off looking to stand but Gold dives back in and keeps control.

Singh tries to kick Gold off but Gold keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Gold has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gold drops an elbow to the side of Singh's head. Singh is in trouble now - Gold has advanced to mount! Gold putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Gold lands a couple of good shots and Singh has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Singh trying to get back to his feet but Gold is in full control for now. Gold gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Singh is rocked! Gold lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Singh is still in real trouble! Can Gold finish him? Singh is trying to escape but he's just digging himself into more trouble. Gold manages to sink in the hooks and gets a rear naked choke to end the fight in impressive fashion.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jack Gold! Jack Gold bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it. The defeated Azadshatru Singh had this to say: 'I look back on my career with greebert. I remember how the ladies would wave their underdunkers at me when they saw me come up the aisle and climb into that ring, with my gloves laced up and a firehose hanging around my shoulders. I'd give it all to be back in the runny just once the more timer.'.
