Batts comes to the cage accompanied by Midnight City - By: M83. Adams is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pride FC - Theme. Peter Batts could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Scott Adams's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Batts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scott Adams!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batts fails with an attempt to clinch.
It seemed like Adams was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Batts fails with a takedown attempt.
The fighters circling - Batts throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Batts has managed to clinch.
Adams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Adams lands with a straight right. Batts didn't see that one coming.
Batts scores with a head kick. Adams tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Batts throws a combination that misses
enabling Adams to counter with a crisp jab.
Adams connects with a good right hand that stumbles Batts. Batts circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Batts misses with a lunging right hand
and Adams counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice shot lands for Adams.
Batts misses with a left hand
letting Adams counter with a right hand.
Adams showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Batts.
Batts fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Adams cracks Batts with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Adams ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Batts moves into the clinch successfully.
Batts is working for takedown but Adams is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Batts. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Batts breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Batts misses with a takedown
and Adams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Adams scores with a one two! Batts had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Adams has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
A swing and a miss from Batts.
Batts misses with a hook
and Adams counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Batts listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Batts throws a leg kick
and Adams makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Batts drops his shoulder and cracks Adams with a huge uppercut! Adams goes down! Can Batts finish him?
Adams is rocked!
Batts with a nice head shot there.
Adams is still in real trouble! Can Batts finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Batts drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Batts as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Adams screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Batts! Nice submission victory there!
