Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Petros Prokopos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Mr Tapout!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prokopos fails with the takedown.
Prokopos shoots in looking for a takedown but Tapout manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Prokopos's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tapout changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Tapout is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tapout misses with a few strikes there.
Prokopos dodges the punch combination from Tapout.
Prokopos half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Prokopos avoids the body shot from Tapout.
Prokopos gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Petros Prokopos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch combination from Tapout misses.

Prokopos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Prokopos seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Prokopos passes into half guard.

Prokopos is controlling the pace.
Tapout looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tapout won't allow Prokopos to pass to mount.

Prokopos is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Tapout is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Petros Prokopos!
