Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Strong Belwas!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Pavlo Ramazanov!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Ramazanov misses the target.
Belwas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ramazanov manages to avoid it.
Ramazanov throws a jab when Belwas was well out of range.
Ramazanov lands with a good body shot.
Ramazanov throws a jab but it's blocked by Belwas.
Ramazanov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Belwas tried to counter with a leg kick but Ramazanov avoided it.
Ramazanov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ramazanov throws a jab when Belwas was well out of range.
Ramazanov throws a nice looking combination but Belwas bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Belwas scores with a nice body kick.
Belwas jabs at Ramazanov's body.
Ramazanov looks to score with a jab to the body but Belwas is just out of range.
We've been told by Belwas's head coaches at Montreal Athletic Center 5* spar that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Belwas throws a push kick but Ramazanov slaps the foot to one side.
Belwas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Belwas swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Ramazanov clobbers Belwas with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Donk. Ramazanov catches Belwas right on the button with a cross.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Belwas.
Ramazanov swings widly with a right hand
and Belwas counters with a nice body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Belwas thuds a left hand into Ramazanov's body.
A thudding body kick lands there by Belwas!
Ramazanov looks winded!
Ramazanov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Belwas slips a jab from Ramazanov.
Ramazanov swings for the body but Belwas moves out of range.
Belwas lands with an overhand left.
Belwas feints and then cracks Ramazanov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ramazanov down.
Belwas blocks a jab.
An attempted straight right counter from Belwas misses the target.
Ramazanov throws a series of strikes that have Belwas backpedaling.
Ramazanov misses with a looping right.
Ramazanov misses the shot to the body.
Ramazanov throws an off balance right hand
and Belwas counters with a nice body kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Belwas lands a left and a right that send Ramazanov crashing to the mat, dazed. Belwas thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like Pavlo Ramazanov has been cut.
Ramazanov on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Belwas gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Belwas cracks Ramazanov on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Ramazanov falls backwards against the cage. Belwas follows up with more strikes that drop Ramazanov to his knees. Belwas keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Ramazanov! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Strong Belwas!
Strong Belwas is the new heavyweight champion!
A very excited looking Strong Belwas made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
