Alexandersson comes into the arena with Too Bad I Have To Destroy You Now blaring out of the sound system. Bustamante has chosen Here Comes The Boom! as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bustamante has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

It looks like Gymer Alexandersson has been cut.
Bustamante on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

and Bustamante takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bustamante moves in looking to clinch but Alexandersson pushes him off.
Bustamante misses with an uppercut. Alexandersson saw that one coming.

Bustamante tries to work over Alexandersson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Alexandersson is trying to break the clinch but Bustamante is controlling him.

Diego Bustamante seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alexandersson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bustamante throws a push kick but Alexandersson slaps the foot to one side.
Alexandersson takes a swing at Bustamante's ribcage but misses.
Bustamante connects with a solid leg kick.

and Alexandersson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Bustamante uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Alexandersson.
Bustamante flicks out a counter leg kick but Alexandersson steps away.

Alexandersson works Bustamante's body with a nice hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A slapping leg kick lands for Bustamante.

Alexandersson sends Bustamante crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Alexandersson is motioning to the referee to let Bustamante up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Bustamante is rocked!
Bustamante drops his hands momentarily. Alexandersson doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Bustamante staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Bustamante doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
