Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Forgiveness. Sanchez has chosen Where is My Mind? by Pixies as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jack Jones has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Sanchez as Jones shoots in. A telegraphed right hand from Sanchez misses the target. Jones is looking to counter the offense by Sanchez and move into the clinch. Sanchez stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Jones darts in looking for a takedown but Sanchez gets double underhooks and turns Jones into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sanchez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jones counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jones. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanchez working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Jones has passed into half guard!

That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez wants to control but Jones is keeping busy and won't allow it. Sanchez is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Jones has latched onto it... Big trouble! Jones pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Sanchez is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Jones!
