Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jed Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jed Knight will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jed Knight! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Knight avoids it really well and circles away. Frank Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller shoots in for a takedown but Knight shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Miller misses with a takedown and Knight counters with a stiff right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miller looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Miller pushing down on Knight's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Miller trying to mount his opponent but Knight defends it. Miller is trying to control. Knight wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller is working for a kimura but Knight is defending it quite comfortably.
Miller is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Knight defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knight tries to kick Miller off but Miller keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Miller is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Knight manages to escape and get back to his feet! Miller with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Knight to score with a decent uppercut. Miller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Miller has a takedown stuffed. Miller shoots in for a takedown but Knight shows good takedown defense. Miller takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Miller looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Knight uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Miller has time to react. Miller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Knight scores with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A punch lands to the side of Miller 's head but he takes it in his stride. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A cross from Knight lands. Knight lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Miller is looking to close the distance but Knight sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Miller crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Miller is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
