Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gregg Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myron Pillay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gregg Willis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Myron Pillay! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pillay chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Willis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Willis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pillay. Pillay circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Willis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pillay manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Pillay shoots in and bounces Willis off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pillay accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Willis isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Pillay stacks Willis on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Pillay! Willis is looking for a sweep. Willis is working hard here to advance position. Pillay stands up and beckons Willis to his feet. Pillay shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pillay showed some decent athleticism there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Willis wants to improve his position but Pillay is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Willis manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Pillay keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Pillay tightens his grip and picks Willis up, before dumping him to the ground. Willis manages to land in guard. Willis scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Pillay closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Willis did well to prevent Pillay getting side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pillay throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Pillay is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Willis is staying active underneath Pillay, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Pillay might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Willis haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Willis tries to kick Pillay off but Pillay keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Willis trying to control from the bottom.
Willis wants to get back to full guard. Willis gets full guard. Willis throws his legs up looking for a submission but Pillay uses it to pass to side control.
Pillay decides to stand back up. Willis drives through with a takedown into guard. Willis not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Willis drops back looking for a leg! Pillay is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pillay manages to kick Willis off! Willis jumps back into Pillay's guard. Willis is breathing heavily. Pillay not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Willis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Pillay tries to land a sweep but no joy. Willis throws a big right hand that misses. Willis's corner is telling him to maintain position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Pillay drives through with a takedown into guard. Pillay must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Willis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pillay can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Pillay works over Willis with some ground and pound from guard. Willis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Willis looking for a sweep. Not yet Willis, not yet. Pillay keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Willis's head. Pillay trying to control but Willis is working from the bottom. Pillay engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Pillay tries to free his leg and advance position but Willis is retaining full guard. Willis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pillay defends well. Willis looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Pillay has picked Willis up and slammed him! Willis can't keep hold of the triangle and Pillay manages to pass to side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Myron Pillay will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Pillay clinches up with Willis and pushes him back against the cage. Willis is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Pillay to keep the fight standing. Pillay has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Willis uses from the top position. Willis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Willis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pillay manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Willis has Pillay in his guard. Pillay controlling from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Willis wants to sweep here but Pillay controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pillay trying to control but Willis is working from the bottom. Pillay sitting in guard here, content to control. Pillay drops back looking for a leg! Willis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Willis manages to kick Pillay off! Pillay jumps back into Willis's guard. Willis looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Pillay pushes down on Willis's leg and manages to get into half guard. Pillay trying to control the action but Willis is working from the bottom. Willis is trying to stand up here but Pillay is controlling him well. Pillay looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Willis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Willis is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Willis is trying to stand.
Pillay wants to take a breather but Willis is having none of it. Willis trying to get back to full guard but Pillay takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Willis is trying desperately to improve position. Willis is trying to stand. A nice elbow there by Pillay. Pillay wants to control the pace but Willis is squirming around nicely. Willis can't escape the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Willis wants to control but Pillay is having none of it. Pillay with good strikes from the mount here! Willis taking shots to the head. Pillay trying to control but he's not successful this time. Pillay controlling the pace for now. Pillay lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Willis swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Willis is trying desperately to improve position. Pillay working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Pillay sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Willis tries to reverse the position but Pillay maintains control. Pillay trying to control but Willis is having none of it. Willis regains half guard. Willis has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Pillay is on him like a limpet, forcing Willis back against the cage. Willis gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Pillay has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Willis is working away from the top position though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pillay is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pillay trying to control here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Myron Pillay showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!
Pillay shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Willis's guard. Willis looking to control.
Willis working for a triangle but Pillay defends it easily.
Pillay won't allow Willis to get back to his feet. Willis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pillay wants to control from the top but Willis keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pillay preventing the sweep. Pillay pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Willis is keeping the position for now. Pillay is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Willis gets full guard. Willis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Pillay trying to control but Willis is working from the bottom. Willis trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Willis keeping moving, preventing Pillay from controlling successfully. Pillay distracts Willis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Willis wants to sweep here but Pillay controlling him for the moment. Willis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pillay controls the pace. Pillay takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Willis throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Pillay throws a series of punches but Willis avoids them all with ease. Myron Pillay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Willis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pillay was covering up waiting for the punch and Willis finishes the takedown easily into guard. Willis is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Willis with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Pillay looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Willis postures up in Pillay's guard and throws a big left but Pillay blocks it. Willis drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pillay looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pillay looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pillay!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Willis is trying to control Pillay's posture but Pillay avoids it. Myron Pillay has got the better of the ground game so far. Pillay has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Willis keeps the fight on the outside. Willis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pillay manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Pillay looking to hit a scissor sweep but Willis is one step ahead there. Willis controls from within his opponent's guard. Willis postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pillay is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Willis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Willis controls from within his opponent's guard. Gregg Willis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Myron Pillay is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Willis trying to stand up but can't free himself from Pillay's guard.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Myron Pillay. Well Pillay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
