Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bronko Buster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Togi Makabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makabe has chosen Immigrant Song as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makabe fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Makabe wants to clinch up but Buster keeps it at a distance.
A quick step to the side and Buster tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Buster just misses with a punch to the body.
Buster lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Makabe shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Buster sprawls well. Buster wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Makabe gets slowly back to his feet.
Buster scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Togi Makabe has been cut.
Makabe throws a right and a left that both miss.
Makabe blocks a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Makabe gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Makabe connects with a knee to the head.

Buster tries to work over Makabe's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Makabe swings wildly with an uppercut but Buster uses good head movement to avoid it.
Buster lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Makabe.

Buster works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Makabe throws a knee to the head but misses.

I was talking to Buster's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Makabe looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Buster swings for the body but Makabe moves out of range.
Makabe moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Makabe is looking to clinch but Buster is avoiding it.
Buster swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Makabe tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Buster manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Buster swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Buster is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Buster swings for the body but Makabe moves out of range.
Makabe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Makabe shoots in looking for a takedown. Buster tries to sprawl out of it but Makabe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buster manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Makabe moves in looking to clinch but Buster pushes him off.

and Buster cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That has opened up Togi Makabe's cut even more.
Buster swats away the attempt to clinch by Makabe.

Buster cracks Makabe with an open hand slap.
Makabe takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Buster looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Makabe steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Buster.
Makabe avoids the body shot from Buster.
Makabe is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Makabe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Buster lands a right hook to the body.
Togi Makabe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Makabe's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Buster connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Makabe scrambles back to his feet.
Makabe ducks right into an uppercut from Buster.
Makabe moves in looking to clinch but Buster pushes him off.
Makabe shoots for a double leg takedown but Buster sprawls well. He's pushed Makabe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Buster throws out a powerful jab.
The cut above Togi Makabe's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Makabe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Buster as he avoids it easily.
Buster lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Makabe is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Makabe tries to clinch there but Buster circles away.
Buster drops Makabe with a big left hand! Makabe is injured, injured bad! Buster jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Bronko Buster decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
