Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sokol takes the fight into the clinch.

Sokol drives through and clinches with Bowen against the cage.

Sokol throws a right hand that Bowen ducks under and follows up with a left that Bowen also avoids with ease.

It looks like Edgar Bowen has been cut.
Sokol gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bowen.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edgar Bowen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sokol clinches up against the cage.

Sokol breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bowen wants to clinch up but Sokol keeps it at a distance.

Sokol gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Bowen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bowen is looking to counter the offense by Sokol and move into the clinch.

Sokol pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Sokol drives through and clinches with Bowen against the cage.
Bowen is trying to pull guard but Sokol turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Bowen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Bowen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sokol can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bowen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sokol doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sokol manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sokol is trying to control but Bowen manages to pass to mount!

Sokol is bucking up trying to escape but Bowen cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Bowen is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Sokol is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Sokol flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bowen anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Sokol and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bowen slips an arm under Sokol chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bowen has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bowen is squeezing on Sokol like an anaconda would it's prey. Sokol fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Edgar Bowen!
