Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Morris. That did some damage!
Morris looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Morris fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wagner throws a sloppy body shot

Wagner misses with a head kick.
Wagner attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Morris.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horrible takedown attempt by Morris or perhaps it was just good defense by Wagner, which made it look bad.

Morris wants to clinch.

Wagner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Morris manages to avoid it.
Morris shoots in for a takedown but Wagner shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wagner misses the jab.

Wagner has closed the distance and engaged Morris in a clinch.

Wagner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Wagner throws a nice looking combination but Morris bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Morris tries to sprawl but Wagner drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Morris is breathing heavily.
Wagner is nestled in close to Morris, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Morris is staying active underneath Wagner, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Wagner wants to work for an arm triangle but Morris is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
