Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bullar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimi Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Patrick Bullar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jimi Aldo!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Aldo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bullar forces Aldo back against the cage and clinches.

Aldo has hold of one of Bullar's legs. Bullar is fighting the takedown attempt but Aldo gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Aldo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Aldo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aldo trying to control but Bullar is working from the bottom.
Bullar is looking to stand up but Aldo isn't so interested in that idea.
Aldo trying to control the position from guard on top but Bullar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Aldo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aldo trying to control but Bullar is working from the bottom.

Aldo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Aldo has his takedown stuffed
and Bullar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Aldo has a takedown stuffed.
Bullar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aldo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bullar gets a clinch.
Bullar makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Bullar lands an uppercut.
Bullar throws a punch but it's blocked by Aldo.
Aldo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bullar pulls his leg out and moves away.
Patrick Bullar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimi Aldo.

Bullar clinches up against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Bullar.
Bullar gets underhooks to prevent Aldo's takedown attempt.

Bullar jumps guard.
Aldo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Aldo throws a big elbow that misses.
Bullar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bullar tries to get out of the position.
Bullar keeping full guard, as Aldo tries to pass.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Aldo drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Aldo as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Bullar screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Aldo! Nice submission victory there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Jimi Aldo!
A relieved looking Jimi Aldo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
