The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franks takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jacobs closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Franks sneaks out the side door and pushes Jacobs away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Danga de danga de dang - Jacobs scores with a four punch combination!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jacobs dives in and scores a takedown into Franks's guard.
Franks is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Jacobs stops Franks from standing up.
Franks working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jacobs.
Franks tries to strike from the bottom.

Jacobs wants to pass the guard but Franks is keeping the position.

Jacobs loads up on a big left hand. Franks felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Jacobs looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Franks can't hide his disappointment, as Jacobs celebrates the victory.
