Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cassit Heiluu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dorian Yates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heiluu comes to the cage accompanied by Kerrankin Tarpeekseen. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
37 - 39 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cassit Heiluu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dorian Yates! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heiluu has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Yates. Heiluu swings widly with a right hand
and Yates counters with a nice uppercut. Yates shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Heiluu as he jumps to the side. Yates uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Heiluu. Heiluu takes a jab right on the kisser.
Yates slips a straight right by Heiluu. Yates ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Heiluu finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Yates moves out of range as Heiluu strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Heiluu misses with a leg kick and Yates counters with a shoot takedown. Heiluu fights it but they end up in guard. Heiluu throws his legs up looking for a submission but Yates uses it to pass to side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Heiluu tries to get back to half guard but can't. Yates has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Heiluu!
That's one minute gone in the round. Yates wants to control the pace but Heiluu is squirming around nicely. Yates controlling the pace for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yates wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Heiluu is squirming around, avoiding Yates's attempts to control the action. Heiluu is desperately trying to improve his position but Yates has a good base and remains in mount. Heiluu is working hard here to advance position. We've been hearing good reports from Heiluu's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Heiluu is controlling an arm, preventing Yates from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Heiluu trying to get back to full guard but Yates takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Heiluu is looking to improve his position but Yates isn't that keen on the idea. Heiluu defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Yates. Yates looking to control but Heiluu is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Yates can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Heiluu is looking to escape. Yates looking to control and managing it successfully. Heiluu wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Yates doesn't have the hooks in and Heiluu manages to turn into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yates had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Heiluu defends it easily. Heiluu stopping the sweep attempt from Yates. Yates trying to control the position here. Heiluu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yates swivels though and keeps the full guard. Heiluu scoring with punches to the head and body. Heiluu is looking to pass into half guard but Yates pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Yates is in guard.

Yates tries for a kimura but Heiluu is defending well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Heiluu is looking to reverse the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dorian Yates dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Heiluu fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yates sprawls well initially but Heiluu persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dorian Yates has got the better of the ground game so far. Heiluu is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Yates has managed to free his arm - good work. Yates looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Yates slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Yates is trying to control the position but Heiluu postures up. Yates is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Heiluu frees his head nicely. Oh but Yates has switched to an armbar! Heiluu is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
