The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pride swats away the attempt to clinch by Davis.
Donald Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pride fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Davis swings away with a leg kick that misses.

and Pride counters with a single leg into guard. Davis didn't expect that.

Davis throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Pride escapes and throws Davis's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Pride decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

and Pride counters by moving into the clinch.
