Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Richmond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Ruth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richmond comes into the arena with Dont Stop Me Now blaring out of the sound system. Ed Ruth has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles Richmond! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ed Ruth! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richmond takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ruth dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Richmond tries to clinch up. Despite the aggression on Ruth's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Ruth connects with a jab. Richmond clinches up against the cage. Richmond is trying to maintain a safe position but Ruth gets an underhook and turns Richmond into the cage. Richmond trying to control the position but instead, Ruth has worked for underhooks and has pushed Richmond into the cage. Richmond tries a body shot but Ruth blocks it.
Richmond's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Richmond has managed to clinch.
Ruth goes for a takedown attempt but Richmond pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Richmond tries to clinch but Ruth moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Richmond tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ruth paws at him with a jab and circles away. Richmond closes the distance and pushes Ruth back into the cage. Ruth tries for a takedown. No joy.
Ruth has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Richmond avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Charles Richmond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ed Ruth. Ruth tries to score a body lock takedown but Richmond shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Richmond has had enough of the clinch but Ruth keeps him there for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richmond pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Richmond looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Richmond clinches. Richmond tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Ruth breaks the clinch.
Richmond moves in looking to clinch but Ruth pushes him off. A head kick by Richmond misses letting Ruth counter with a right hand. Richmond closes the distance looking to clinch and Ruth counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Richmond is rocked! Richmond tries to clinch but Ruth moves away and Ruth counters with a right hand to the body. Richmond wants to clinch but Ruth slips to the side and Ruth counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Richmond is breathing heavily. Richmond tries to clinch and Ruth scores with a counter punch that sends Richmond to the canvas! Ruth smells blood - he's punishing Richmond with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Richmond has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
