Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackie Facon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackie Facon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrew Martin! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Facon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Facon is looking to counter punch. Martin throws a solid leg kick but Facon takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Martin. Facon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Martin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Facon somewhat. Facon has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. A momentary lapse in concentration from Facon enables Martin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Facon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Facon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Facon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Martin on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Martin tries to free his leg and advance position but Facon is retaining full guard. Facon working for a triangle but Martin defends it easily.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Martin lands a nice short elbow. Martin is trying to control the action in half guard but Facon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Facon wants to get back to full guard. Martin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Martin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Martin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Facon keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully. Facon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Martin's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Facon decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Martin, up you get! The crowd cheers as Facon lands an impressive looking overhand right. Martin doesn't seem phased though. Martin circles away from the clinch attempt.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Martin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Facon. Facon instigates a clinch. Facon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Martin tries to score with a low kick but Facon moves his leg out of the way. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Martin is breathing heavily.

He's persisting with it as Martin sprawls well. Martin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Facon gets slowly back to his feet. Facon wants to slow Martin down by chopping away at his legs. Martin feints the counter takedown. Martin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Facon checks a leg kick. Facon was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Martin falls off balance throwing a combination
and Facon counters with a lovely shot to the body. Facon closes the distance and clinches. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Facon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Martin throws a leg kick and Facon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Martin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Martin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Martin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Facon is trying to improve his position. Martin throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Facon is trying to control Martin's posture but Martin avoids it. Facon is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin has control of Facon's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Facon regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Martin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Facon looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Martin is not going to allow Facon to sit and survive in this position. Martin looking for the RNC. Facon trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Facon can't escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Facon is working hard here to advance position. Facon defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Martin's arms. Facon tries to break free.

Martin is trying to stick to Facon's back but Facon is turning into Martin. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Martin's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Facon. Facon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Martin is proving hard to escape from.
