PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kylla Ei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ottis Toole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toole has chosen Sexy and I Know It by LMFAO as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kylla Ei could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ottis Toole's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kylla Ei!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ottis Toole!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toole thows a left - swing and a miss!
Toole ducks under a wild hook from Ei.
Ei swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Toole scores with a hook to the body. Ei takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ei is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Toole.

Ei moves into the clinch successfully.
Ei is pushing Toole up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Toole tries a body shot but Ei blocks it.
Ei wants to stall.
A knee to the head by Ei.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Toole creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
We've been informed that Toole has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Ei breaks the clinch.
We've been told by Ei's head coaches at LOD: Lightning Kicks (MaxID266K) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Toole throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ei.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Toole misses with a looping left.
Toole fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ei looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Toole tests Ei's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ei misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Toole counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ei jabs at Toole's body.
Ei misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Toole drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ei defends it well.
Ei bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Toole's head.
Ei jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Toole throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Toole avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ei throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Toole on the side of the head.
Ei lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Toole moves out of range as Ei strikes.

Toole shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Toole wants to take a breather but Ei is having none of it.
Toole throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Toole throwing shots but Ei is blocking nicely.
Toole has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Toole winds up and cracks Ei with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Toole working over Ei with some ground and pound. Ei looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Toole thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ei's head.
Ei trying to control but Toole postures up.
Ei trying to get back to full guard but Toole takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Toole cracks Ei with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Ei is looking to get to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Toole lands a nice shot to the head.
Toole is in the full mount, landing strikes.


Ei is rocked!
Toole drops a big elbow. That's hurt Ei! More shots from Toole and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ottis Toole! Ottis Toole retains his super heavyweight title!
Ottis Toole was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
