Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scorchio Whitehouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krom Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scorchio Whitehouse has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Scorchio Whitehouse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Krom Kong!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Whitehouse.
Whitehouse lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Kong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kong pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Whitehouse rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Whitehouse takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Kong displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Whitehouse.
A big right from Whitehouse misses.
Kong looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Whitehouse displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kong.
Whitehouse has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kong.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Kong counters with an inside leg kick.
Scorchio Whitehouse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kong on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Kong lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kong.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Whitehouse fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kong manages to avoid it.
Kong showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Whitehouse.

Kong fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Whitehouse has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Whitehouse jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Despite the aggression on Kong's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Kong has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Whitehouse misses the body punch
and Kong counters with a good, hard body kick but Whitehouse shrugs it off.

and Whitehouse counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Kong tries to close the distance and clinch up but Whitehouse swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Some wild striking there from Whitehouse.
Whitehouse looks to land a combination but Kong avoids it well.
Kong throws out a counter right but Whitehouse avoids it with no problem.
Whitehouse scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Whitehouse misses with a kick to the body.
Whitehouse swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Whitehouse backing away here, and Kong unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Whitehouse has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kong.
Kong keeps Whitehouse at a distance using the push kick.
Kong defending well as Whitehouse loads up on a big left hand.
Whitehouse throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kong counters with a good low kick that Whitehouse was not able to check.
Whitehouse blocks the body kick.
Kong with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Whitehouse will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kong lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Whitehouse tests Kong's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kong loads up on a big right hand but Whitehouse slips the punch.

Kong swinging wildly here.
Whitehouse went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
A right-left combo lands from Kong.
Whitehouse is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kong moves out of range of the strikes.
Kong tries a head kick but it misses.
Whitehouse throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kong looks for the body kick but Whitehouse saw that one coming.
Whitehouse is looking to wear down Kong with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Kong looks for the body kick but Whitehouse saw that one coming.
Whitehouse throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Whitehouse changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kong tries to avoid it but Whitehouse manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kong to the ground. Kong escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kong dodges the punch combination from Whitehouse.
Kong takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Scorchio Whitehouse will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kong is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Whitehouse lands with a good body shot.
Whitehouse throws a right hand that Kong ducks under and follows up with a left that Kong also avoids with ease.

Whitehouse was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Kong drops his hands momentarily and Whitehouse takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Whitehouse takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Kong throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Kong fakes the leg kick and cracks Whitehouse in the body.
Kong throws a series of punches but Whitehouse moves out of range.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kong.
Kong moves away from the strike by Whitehouse.
Whitehouse lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kong backs up against the cage.


Kong is rocked!
Scorchio Whitehouse is winning the standup battle so far.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Whitehouse circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Kong to the canvas! Kong doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Whitehouse keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scorchio Whitehouse!
Scorchio Whitehouse took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Lion Fightwear for their support in the buildup to the fight.
Krom Kong was interviewed post fight and said 'U were to good tonite,but i would like rematch, in the future '.
