Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Highlander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Tabasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobby Highlander is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Highlander!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Tabasco!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Highlander shoots in for a double leg but Tabasco sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Highlander shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Tabasco not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Highlander drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tabasco dives on top into guard.

Highlander has his foot on Tabasco's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tabasco works his way back into a safe position though.
Highlander might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Highlander escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tabasco gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tabasco must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Tabasco seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Highlander throws his legs up looking for a submission but Tabasco uses it to pass to side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tabasco lands some shots froms side control.
Tabasco advances nicely into full mount.

Tabasco has control of Highlander's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Highlander regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Highlander is squirming around, avoiding Tabasco's attempts to control the action.

Tabasco can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Highlander is looking to escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Highlander is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Tabasco throws a head kick that Highlander semi-blocks.

Tabasco doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Highlander counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Highlander.
Tabasco is pulling down on Highlander's head. It's preventing any offense from Highlander, at least for the moment.

Highlander has gone for a leg lock! Tabasco slips out almost immediately though and dives into Highlander's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Highlander tries to buck Tabasco off but Tabasco is having none of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bobby Highlander.
Well Tabasco has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
