The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skovgaard moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Nice jab there from Skovgaard.
Skovgaard throws a quick inside leg kick.
Skovgaard ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Skovgaard slips a straight right by Carter.
Carter looks to land a left hand but Skovgaard moved out of range nicely.
Skovgaard seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Carter misses with a hook. Skovgaard ducked under it nicely.
Skovgaard steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Carter.
Skovgaard is looking to counter punch.
Skovgaard drops Carter with a beautiful combination! Carter stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Skovgaard is looking for the KO!
It looks like Vince Carter has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carter blocks a jab.
Carter scores with a jab. Skovgaard acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Carter throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Skovgaard misses with a wild body shot.
Skovgaard keeps the fight on the outside.
Skovgaard shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Skovgaard swings for the body but Carter moves out of range.
Skovgaard lands a head shot.
Skovgaard tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Carter throws a combination that misses
and Skovgaard counters with a big right hand! Oh Carter is in trouble here! Skovgaard follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
