Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stein Lager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eirik Rivfader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eirik Rivfader is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stein Lager! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eirik Rivfader! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lager. Rivfader darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Nice strikes from Rivfader there. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rivfader in particular looking to stall. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rivfader connects with a nice short shot to Lager's temple. Rivfader stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lager actively working from the bottom here. Rivfader postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Lager to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rivfader shoots in and bounces Lager off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lager has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rivfader is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lager. Lager is breathing heavily. Rivfader has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Rivfader drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Rivfader content to stall in guard here. Rivfader is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Lager looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Rivfader has picked Lager up and slammed him! Lager can't keep hold of the triangle and Rivfader manages to pass to side control! Lager knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rivfader on the ground. Lager takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rivfader is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Rivfader tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rivfader has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! This has been an exciting period of action! Rivfader advances to full mount. Rivfader content just to control the position here. Rivfader breaks from Lager's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Lager is rocked! Rivfader connects with a bit shot that sees Lager covering up! More strikes from Rivfader and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Rivfader is our winner by TKO!
