Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bobbie Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Believe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Believe has chosen Legends as his entrance music. Bobbie Stokes has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobbie Stokes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve Believe! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stokes throws a hook but Believe avoids it easily. Believe misses with a wild combination.
Believe swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stokes counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Believe manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Believe misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Stokes.
Stokes fails to pull guard.
Stokes can't break the clinch.
Stokes tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Believe smiles and moves away.
Believe throws a series of punches but Stokes avoids them all with ease. Stokes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Believe moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stokes slips a jab and a cross from Believe.
Stokes jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Some wild striking there from Believe.
Believe throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stokes moves into the clinch. Stokes tries to pull guard but Believe won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobbie Stokes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stokes has Believe pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Believe manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Stokes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Believe looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Stokes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stokes jumps guard but Believe turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Stokes has Believe pressed against the cage, preventing Believe from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Stokes tries to pull guard but Believe won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Believe pulls guard effortlessly. Stokes slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Believe. Believe looks like he's trying to stand up.
Believe has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Stokes is on him like a limpet, forcing Believe back against the cage. Stokes's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Stokes has Believe pressed against the cage, preventing Believe from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Stokes misses with some punches.
Believe tries to break the clinch but Stokes is controlling the position. Stokes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Believe jumps guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Believe trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Believe pushes Stokes off and gets back to his feet.
Believe connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Believe thuds his right hand into Stokes's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Stokes shoots in and bounces Believe off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Believe working for submissions but it's allowed Stokes to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Believe has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stokes is working away from the top position though. Believe misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Believe makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Believe throws a right hand that Stokes ducks under and follows up with a left that Stokes also avoids with ease. Believe fails with an attempt to clinch.
Believe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stokes circles away quickly and effectively. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Believe dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Believe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stokes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Believe tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stokes seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. A low kick from Believe is predictable there and Stokes counters by clinching up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Believe is trying to push Stokes away but Stokes has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Stokes takes a shot to the head. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Stokes is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Believe to keep the fight standing. Stokes tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Believe's face as he tries to break the clinch. Stokes has Believe pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Believe manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Stokes tries to pull guard but Believe won't allow it.

Stokes throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Believe blocks it with crossed arms. Believe is trying to break the clinch but Stokes is controlling him. Stokes stalling.
Believe wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Stokes is trying to pull guard but Believe has him pressed against the cage. Believe throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Stokess head. A short right from Believe. Stokes prevents Believe from breaking the clinch. Believe is trying to force a seperation but Stokes has the dominant position. Stokes displaying some good clinch control by pressing Believe up against the cage. Stokes is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Believe to keep the fight standing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Believe is looking to break free of the clinch but Stokes has double underhooks. Believe wants to break free but Stokes has control.
Believe has had enough of the clinch but Stokes keeps him there for the moment. Believe is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Stokes manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Believe stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Stokes throws up his legs and catches Believe in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Believe tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Stokes! That came out of nowhere!
